Information for Applicants
The EPALE Ireland Increasing Digital Reach Initiative aims to repurpose funds to support the Adult Learning Education community in Ireland. Scroll down the page to read the Selection Criteria for this initiative.
Funding Tiers
Tier 1: Up to €500
You can request:
-
1 laptop like Dell or MacBook and 1 Epson printer (not exceeding €500)
-
1 laptop like Dell or MacBook and accessories like docking port, headset, mice and keyboard, webcam, speakers (not exceeding €500)
-
5 HP Chromebook 11 (not exceeding €500)
-
2 ASUS Chromebook (not exceeding €500)
-
2 Dell OptiPlex computer and accessories like docking port, headset, mice and keyboard, webcam, speakers (not exceeding €500)
- 1 Apple iPad 5 and 1 Dell OptiPlex computer (not exceeding €500)
-
1 Dell OptiPlex computer and 1 monitor (not exceeding €500)

1 ViewSonic projector (not exceeding €500)
- Any combination of IT items from the specific tab of Green IT (not exceeding €500)
Tier 2: Up to €1,000
You can request:

Selection Criteria
The EPALE Ireland panel will use the following Selection Criteria when evaluating applications:

Project Benefits Assessors will be reviewing the quality of the application, looking for clearly articulated contribution and engagement on the EPALE platform. They will be looking at how the applicant plans to contribute to EPALE. This might include posting content on EPALE like blogs, news pieces or contributing to EPALE discussions and adding to the presence of EPALE through engaging with the EPALE community. |

Evidence of Need Assessors will be looking for evidence that applicant’s organisation needs IT equipment to promote increasing digital reach especially because of the impact of COVID. |

Ongoing Activities Assessors will be looking at the ongoing activities of your organisation to ensure that it is in line with Adult Learning. |

4 |
Increasing Digital Reach Assessors will be looking at how the materials will increase digital reach within your organisation and (where applicable) further. |

5 |
Organisation Assessors will be looking for evidence that the organisation is properly governed, for example through accounts/decision making/regulatory bodies/reputation/affiliate or partner organisations and within the Republic of Ireland.
