Become an eTwinning Ambassador
Léargas is seeking applicants for the Irish eTwinning Ambassadors Network 2025-26
Deadline for applications is 26 September 2025
Call for eTwinning Ambassadors
eTwinning Ambassadors are experienced, enthusiastic teachers who share their passion for eTwinning with the wider teaching community. They share their experience with other schools, conduct training with teachers and support new eTwinners both online and in-person. The benefits of being an eTwinning Ambassador are:
- You become a recognised leader in international education and digital collaboration
- You are invited to national and European events, conferences and workshops
- You have access to networks of experienced educators across Europe
- You gain a deeper involvement in educational innovation
- You get to guide and mentor new teachers in their professional development
Each year, Léargas invites teachers to apply to become eTwinning Ambassadors. We choose the most suitable candidates based on teaching experience, involvement in eTwinning, motivation to become an ambassador and how they can support the eTwinning community. Teachers selected for the role will also have access to for-purpose training and skills development opportunities.
To become an eTwinning Ambassador, you must:
- be involved in eTwinning projects and/or have a good working knowledge of the platform
- be willing to promote eTwinning in their school and catchment area
- be prepared to provide face-to-face and online training for other teachers
- be passionate about professional and curriculum development
- be willing to promote eTwinning nationally
If this sounds like you, our call for ambassadors is open until 26 September 2025.
Fill out the application form here where you can tell us about your eTwinning experience, your motivation to become a member of the network and how you will participate in and contribute to the network.
